The Local Government of Urdaneta received an “unqualified opinion” from Commission on Audit (COA) for the first time in the history of Urdaneta under the leadership of Mayor Julio “Rammy” F. Parayno III. The unqualified opinion is the highest audit opinion that COA can render to a Local Government Unit (LGU). It is also the highest audit rating obtained by City Government of Urdaneta- FY 2020.
The COA’s Independent Auditor’s (IA) report for Fiscal Year 2020 declared that Urdaneta’s financial statements were “in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards”.
